He thought he was better off leaving me, under the impression that he could find better. I'm the first to say that he won't find better than me because I loved him in a way that he'll never find again. I gave him all of me, heart, mind, & soul in such a way that built him up so far that he thought he was better than me. All I can do is shake my head & walk the other way, because I know that sooner or later, ill hear him knocking on my door, wanting me back. Once I would have run to him & embraced him with open arms.
